There is a high level of pride amongst the McLaren Flat school community in the high quality buildings, grounds and equipment which provide an ideal and stimulating learning environment for our students.

The well appointed, air-conditioned classrooms are complemented by a well resourced library / information technology centre, an activity room with a fully equipped kitchen and administration / staff facilities.

In recent years much support has been provided by parents, students and other community members in redeveloping the school grounds to make them both functional in meeting students needs and very attractive. This has further engendered pride in the school by students and has been acknowledged through the receipt of KESAB awards.

The Governing Council has an active Grounds Committee, focussing on the continual development of the school.  Recent developments include a refurbished basketball court, installation of rainwater tanks, development of community garden and paved walkways.

The school also has a lease agreement to allow for use of the community oval, netball and tennis courts. The school is appreciative of its relationship with the Recreation Committee.
